from the original V Project, the RGM-79[G] was as powerful if
not moreso than its predacessor, the RGM-79[G] Gundam Mass Production
Ground Type, as well as being cheaper to produce. the soon became
a mainstay for the Federation's earth-bound forces during the
One Year War. |

As a prototype suit intended for mass
production, the Re-GZ is a stripped down version of the MSZ-006
Zeta Gundam used in the Gryps and Neo-Zeon wars. Re-GZ eliminated
the costly transformation system used by the Zeta Gundam, but
the prototype was not the most effective in this form. still
an excellent suit, it has lost some ability without the transformation
system. |
